  • Text input you provide to our AI content generation tools

  • Reports of inappropriate content or behavior

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Usage Data: Study sessions and duration, features used within the app, content viewed and interactions, search queries and browsing patterns, time and date of access, performance metrics and app stability data.


Device Information: Device type, model, and operating system, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, IP address (anonymized when possible), browser type and version, language preferences, time zone settings.


Location Data: General location (city/country level) based on IP address. We do NOT collect precise GPS location data.


2.3 Information from Third-Party Sources

If you choose to sign in using third-party services (Google, Apple, etc.), we receive: Basic profile information (name, email), profile picture, and account verification status.


2.4 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, analyze app performance, and improve user experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 To Provide and Maintain the Service: Create and manage your account, enable you to create, store, and access study materials, process your requests and provide customer support, send important service announcements and updates, facilitate community features (sharing, ratings, reviews).


3.2 To Improve and Personalize the Service: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features, personalize your learning experience, develop new features and functionality, conduct research and analytics, test and optimize app performance.


3.3 AI Content Generation: Process your input text to generate study materials, improve our AI models and algorithms, enhance keyword extraction and content generation accuracy. Your input data is processed through ONNX Runtime and NLP technologies. We implement privacy measures to protect your input data.


3.4 For Safety and Security: Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activity, monitor and enforce our Terms and Conditions, protect the rights and safety of our users, investigate and respond to user reports, maintain data security and system integrity.


3.5 For Communication: Respond to your inquiries and support requests, send you technical notices and security alerts, notify you about changes to our Service, provide educational tips and best practices (with your consent), conduct surveys and gather feedback (optional).


3.6 Legal and Compliance: Comply with legal obligations and regulatory requirements, enforce our Terms and Conditions, respond to legal requests and court orders, protect our legal rights and interests.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Public Sharing by You: When you choose to make content public, your username and shared content become visible to all Revisto+ users. Other users can view, study from, and provide feedback on your content. Publicly shared content may appear in search results and community feeds. You control what content is public and can change privacy settings at any time.


4.2 Service Providers and Partners: We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us with cloud hosting and storage, analytics and performance monitoring, customer support tools, email and communication services. These providers are contractually obligated to only use your data for specified purposes, maintain appropriate security measures, and comply with applicable privacy laws.


4.3 Academic Institutions: If you access Revisto+ through an institutional account, your institution may have access to your usage data and performance metrics. Teachers may view student progress within classroom groups. We will notify you if your account is linked to an institution.


4.4 Business Transfers: If Van Der Linde Solutions is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new owner. You will be notified via email and/or prominent notice in the app. The new owner must honor this Privacy Policy.


4.5 Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or subpoenas, enforce our Terms and Conditions, protect the rights, property, or safety of Revisto+, our users, or the public, prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activity, or respond to government or law enforcement requests.


4.6 Aggregated and Anonymized Data: We may share aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for research and educational purposes, to demonstrate app usage trends, with academic partners or researchers, or in published reports or presentations.

5. Data Retention

5.1 Active Accounts: We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.


5.2 Account Deletion: When you delete your account: Personal information is deleted within 30 days, some data may be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes, publicly shared content may remain if saved by other users, anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics.


5.3 Backup and Recovery: Deleted data may persist in backup systems for up to 90 days. Backups are securely stored and eventually purged.


5.4 Legal Retention: We may retain certain data longer if required by legal obligations, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or abuse prevention.

6.1 Security Measures

Technical Safeguards: Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL), encryption of sensitive data at rest, secure password hashing, regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, firewall protection and intrusion detection, secure API endpoints with authentication.


Organizational Safeguards: Access controls and authentication requirements, employee training on data protection, confidentiality agreements with staff and contractors, incident response procedures, regular security policy reviews.


6.2 Your Responsibility: You are responsible for keeping your password confidential, using a strong, unique password, logging out of shared devices, reporting suspicious activity immediately, and keeping your contact information up to date.

8.1 Age Requirements: Revisto+ is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Users under 13 may only use Revisto+ through a parent/guardian account with supervision.


8.2 Parental Consent: For users under 13: Parents must create and manage the account, parents can review all information we collect, parents can request deletion of their child's information, parents can refuse further collection of information.


8.3 Information Collected from Children: We collect minimal information from users under 13: Username (may be pseudonymous), study materials created, usage data (anonymized when possible). We do NOT collect from children under 13 without parental consent: Full name, email address, phone number, photos, location data.

8.5 Discovery of Underage Users: If we discover we've collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete the information immediately, terminate the account, and notify the registered email address.

9. International Data Transfers

9.1 Global Service: Revisto+ is accessible worldwide, and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.


9.2 Data Protection Standards: We ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers: Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant authorities, adequacy decisions where applicable, binding Corporate Rules for internal transfers, your explicit consent where required.

12. AI and Machine Learning

12.1 AI Content Generation: Our AI models process your input to generate study materials. Input text is processed through ONNX Runtime. Natural language processing and keyword extraction are performed. Generated content is based on your input and our trained models.


12.2 Model Training and Improvement: We may use your data to improve AI models through aggregated, anonymized input-output pairs, performance metrics and accuracy measurements, and user feedback on generated content quality. We do NOT share your raw input with third parties for training, use your private content to train models accessible to others, or sell your data to AI training companies.


12.3 Automated Decision-Making: We do NOT use automated decision-making that significantly affects you without human oversight. AI is used for content generation (under your control), content recommendations (you can ignore), and spam and abuse detection (subject to human review).

13.1 Updates: We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, new features or services, legal or regulatory requirements, and user feedback and best practices.
