Welcome to Revisto+ ("we," "our," or "the App"), an intelligent STEM-focused flashcard application with AI-driven content generation developed by Van Der Linde Solutions.

By accessing or using the Revisto+ mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

Revisto+ is an educational technology platform that provides:

• AI-Powered Study Material Generation: Create flashcards, summaries, quizzes, and study notes using artificial intelligence
• STEM-Focused Content: Specialized tools and content for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education
• Public Sharing: Share your study materials with the Revisto+ community
• Community Feedback System: Rate, review, and provide feedback on publicly shared content
• Personal Study Tools: Organize, manage, and study using personalized flashcard decks

Revisto+ is currently offered as a free service. We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future, with advance notice to users.

3.1 Account Creation

• You must create an account to access most features of Revisto+
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

3.2 Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Revisto+
• Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent
• Users under 13 may only use Revisto+ through a parent or guardian's account with supervision

3.3 Account Security

• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4.1 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to Revisto+ ("User Content"). By uploading or sharing content, you grant Revisto+ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

4.2 Public Sharing

When you choose to make content public:

• Your content becomes accessible to all Revisto+ users
• Other users may view, study from, and provide feedback on your content
• You grant other users the right to use your publicly shared content for personal educational purposes
• You may remove content from public sharing at any time, but copies that other users have saved may remain in their personal collections

4.3 Content Standards

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Contain false, misleading, or inaccurate information
• Violate any intellectual property rights of others
• Contain malicious code, viruses, or harmful components
• Include inappropriate, offensive, or explicit material
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Promote violence, discrimination, or hate speech
• Include personal information of others without consent
• Constitute spam or unsolicited advertising

4.4 Content Moderation

• We reserve the right to review, remove, or refuse to display any User Content
• We may, but are not obligated to, monitor User Content
• We may take action against accounts that repeatedly violate content standards
• Removed content may be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered

5.1 AI Content Generation

• Revisto+ uses artificial intelligence and machine learning models to generate study materials
• AI-generated content is provided for educational purposes only
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
• Users are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated materials before use

5.2 AI Model Usage

• Our AI models process your input text to generate study materials
• We use ONNX Runtime and natural language processing technologies
• Input data may be temporarily stored to improve AI model performance
• We implement measures to protect the privacy of your input data

5.3 No Professional Advice

• AI-generated content is not a substitute for professional academic advice
• Revisto+ does not provide educational counseling or professional tutoring services
• Always consult with qualified educators for important academic decisions

6.1 Community Feedback

• Users may rate and review publicly shared content
• Feedback should be constructive, respectful, and relevant
• We reserve the right to remove abusive, inappropriate, or spam feedback
• Ratings and reviews do not represent endorsements by Revisto+

6.2 Community Conduct

Users must:

• Treat other community members with respect
• Provide honest and constructive feedback
• Report inappropriate content or behavior
• Not engage in harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior
• Not manipulate ratings or reviews through fake accounts or coordination

6.3 Reporting and Enforcement

• Users can report violations of these Terms or community standards
• We will investigate reports and take appropriate action
• Penalties may include content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination
• Repeat offenders may be permanently banned from the Service

7.1 Revisto+ Intellectual Property

The Revisto+ application, including its design, features, code, algorithms, and branding, is owned by Van Der Linde Solutions. Our trademarks, logos, and service marks are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Revisto+ without written permission.

7.2 Third-Party Content

Some content may be sourced from third parties or public educational resources. We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content infringes your copyright, please contact us with a detailed notice.

7.3 Copyright Infringement

To report copyright infringement, provide:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Location of the infringing material in our Service

We do not condone using Revisto+ to violate exam rules, plagiarize, or engage in academic dishonesty. Institutions may prohibit certain uses of study tools—you must comply with their policies.

10.1 Service "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of content, including AI-generated materials.

10.2 Educational Disclaimer

Revisto+ is a study tool and does not replace formal education. We are not responsible for your academic performance or educational outcomes. Use of Revisto+ does not guarantee improved grades or test scores.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of our free Service shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so these may not apply to you.

10.4 Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party services or contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and conditions.

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Some provisions of these Terms survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, limitations of liability).

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Your use harms or may harm other users or the Service
• Required by law or legal process

11.3 Effect of Termination

• Your User Content may be deleted from our servers

These Terms are governed by applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12.2 Informal Resolution

12.3 Arbitration (Optional)

Disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration. Each party bears their own costs unless otherwise awarded. You waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property disputes. Small claims court disputes may be filed in appropriate jurisdiction.

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Revisto+. Previous versions of Terms are superseded by this version.

13.2 Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Service.

13.3 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Unenforceable provisions will be modified to be enforceable while preserving intent.

13.4 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision. Waivers must be in writing to be effective.

13.5 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to any successor or affiliate.

13.6 Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

14.1 Age Requirements

Revisto+ is not intended for children under 13 without parental supervision. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

14.2 Parental Consent

Parents or guardians must create accounts for children under 13. Parents can review and delete their child's information. Parents can refuse further collection of their child's information.

14.3 Information Collection from Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If we discover we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents may contact us to review or delete their child's information.

15.1 Global Access

Revisto+ may be accessed from countries worldwide. We make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use outside all countries.

15.2 Export Controls

You agree to comply with all export and import laws and regulations. You may not use the Service in countries subject to trade sanctions.

15.3 Language

These Terms are provided in English. Translations may be provided for convenience but English version governs.

We welcome your feedback and suggestions about Revisto+. By providing feedback, you grant us the right to use and implement your suggestions without compensation. We are not obligated to implement any suggestions or acknowledge receipt.

We may offer beta or experimental features. Beta features are provided "as is" with no warranties. We may discontinue beta features at any time without notice. Data associated with beta features may be lost.

19.1 Institutional Accounts

Educational institutions may partner with Revisto+ for institutional accounts. Separate terms may apply to institutional users. Institution administrators may have access to student usage data.

19.2 Classroom Use

Teachers may create classroom groups within Revisto+. Student participation requires parental consent for users under 18. Teachers must comply with their institution's policies regarding educational technology.

20.1 Free Service

Revisto+ is currently offered as a free service to all users. We reserve the right to introduce premium features or paid subscription options in the future.

20.2 Notice of Changes

Users will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any introduction of paid features. Existing users may be offered special terms or grandfathered features. You may discontinue use of the Service if you disagree with future changes.
